We also will enjoy a day at the newly constructed Quarry Golf Club. Throughout the day we will offer unbelievable food and prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

PSC on eBay!
 
 

PSC is now operating on eBay posting items that have been donated to the center. Through an exciting ministry tool called MissionFish, PSC is able to post items with 100% of the proceeds going to the center. Do you have an item you would like to sell on eBay for PSC? Through MissionFish you are able to post your item and designate the proceeds to be awarded to PSC directly. To find out more about how you can post your items to benefit PSC please visit the MissionFish website.

If you would like to view the items that have been posted by PSC simply follow these steps:

1.    Once you are on eBay's homepage click on "Advanced Search"
2.    Then go to the left hand side of the page and select "search by seller"
3.    Enter our ID which is: pregnancysupportcenter (NO SPACES)
4.    This will pull up our profile, and allow you to view our items.

The Pregnancy Support Center of Stark County (PSC) is committed to providing caring support, factual information, decision-making assistance and valuable resources to women and men involved in a crisis pregnancy (an unplanned, untimely or unwanted pregnancy).
 
Choices involved with a crisis pregnancy can be difficult. At PSC, you are given the opportunity to meet with trained peer counselors to discuss your pregnancy options and sexual lifestyle concerns in a safe, confidential and non-threatening environment.

These important life issues are explored with caring consideration to your personal needs, including emotionally, physically and spiritually from a Biblical worldview.

You deserve the care and attention provided by our trained volunteers to understand fully and accurately your choices and the resources available to you. It is our hope that we may assist you in discovering positive solutions to your situation.

We offer the following support services to you completely free of charge:

Pregnancy Tests and Peer Counseling
  • Confidential Pregnancy Tests - 99% accurate
  • One-on-one peer counseling
  • Factual information concerning:
    • Pregnancy and fetal development
    • Abortion and adoption
    • Marriage and single-parenting
    • Sexual lifestyle issues
  • Limited obstetrical ultrasounds
  • STD screening

*Note: Shepherding Homes are not intended to provide emergency housing. If you need temporary housing, we can make referrals to other community organizations.

We care about you, and want to provide you with factual information on which to base your decision. We're here to support you through this difficult time, and would like to help you deal with the feelings and decisions that are associated with a crisis pregnancy. Our peer counselors can inform you of the various support services we offer free of charge.

  • Factual information, decision-making assistance, and compassionate support will be provided to individuals experiencing a possible pregnancy.
  • Women receive free pregnancy tests and confidential peer counseling in a safe and non-threatening environment.
  • Women testing positive will be given the opportunity to explore and discuss information concerning pregnancy options, including abortion, adoption, marriage and single parenting.
  • Women testing negative will be given the opportunity to explore and discuss sexual lifestyle issues, including the emotional, physical and spiritual ramifications from a Biblical worldview. STD screening is also available free of charge.
  • The pregnancy support Center is a medical facility that offers limited obstetrical ultrasounds to confirm viability of pregnancy. Assistance will also be provided in making appropriate referrals for prenatal care.
